Cultivating Wellness Together
About
My name is Matilda Greene
I am a Licensed Social Work Associate Independent Clinical (LSWAIC) practicing in the state of Washington. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Nevada, Reno after completing my undergraduate studies at San Diego State University.
Growing up in a multicultural home helped shape my perspective and deepened my appreciation for the unique experiences and backgrounds that each person brings into therapy. Before starting my private practice, I spent more than five years working within the child welfare systems in both Nevada and Oregon. My professional experience also includes working in juvenile diversion court and later serving in Washington State as a contracted worker with the Office of Public Defense. These experiences gave me the opportunity to support individuals and families through complex and often challenging life circumstances, while strengthening my passion for helping people feel supported, understood, and empowered.
I created Greene Clinical Insights, PLLC to provide a compassionate and welcoming space for adults navigating the everyday challenges that life can bring. Whether you are experiencing stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, or simply feeling overwhelmed, my goal is to help you build insight, resilience, and practical tools for lasting growth.
In addition to my professional roles, I am also a mom and the wife of a military service member, experiences that have given me personal insight into balancing life’s demands, transitions, and uncertainties. I welcome clients from all walks of life and currently provide services to adults ages 18 and older. Please visit my Services page for information about accepted insurance plans and areas of specialty. If you have questions that are not answered on this website, feel free to reach out by email. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you in your journey.
*I am a Licensed Social Work Associate Independent Clinical (LSWAIC) practicing under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) supervisor, in accordance with Washington State licensing requirements. This supervision supports my continued professional growth and helps ensure clients receive thoughtful, ethical, and high-quality care.
